Colchester Historical Enactment Society
The Colchester Historical Enactment Society, (C.H.E.S.) is a small Living History and Combat Display society who re-enact all aspects of early Eighteenth Century Maritime life, including Navy and Essex Smugglers, but in particular the activities of Pirates during the "Golden age" of piracy, 1680 1730 (ish).
C.H.E.S. also enact 9th Century Saxons.
