NDC Railroad between Hopewell Junction and Millbrook
The Central New England Railway (CNE) / Newburgh, Dutchess and Connecticut Railroad between Hopewell Junction and Millbrook with a side trip on the Clove Branch RR. After the NDC and Clove Branch merged into the CNE, then the CNE became part of the New Haven Railroad. Unfortunately, it is all gone, but we have great pictures and maps to see.

George Alpert, last president of the New Haven
A story of George Alpert, the last president of the New Haven Railroad. He was president of the New Haven Railroad from 1956 to 1961 when the carrier went into bankruptcy. After he left the railroad, the Interstate Commerce Commission agreed with him that railroads like the New Haven must have federal subsidies to exist.
