I have type 1b stage 3 fibrosis at the present (2/27/2005) - been thru treatments twice (unsuccessful) now in a study for maintanence dose of peg-intron, trying to prove to FDA even if not cured interferron can protect your liver from cancer and possibly cirrhosis. Just started this study in Jan 2005
