Killing Christians With Impunity? 10/03/2013 20:50:33

Killing Christians With Impunity? The great bunghole in DC is concerned that Muslims are killing Muslims in syria, claims to be a Christian (though I am quite sure He is lying about this as he does so many other things) but seems to have not the slightest interest in where, why, or by whom thousands of christians have been killed during his term in office. Prayer is the least we can do but removing the socialist un-godly democrats and this offal named Obama from office cannot but help as any other person would have enough conscience to at least mention these atrocities in public. Jerry Newcombe | Oct 03, 2013 Recommend this article Next month will mark the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church. The official date is November 10, 2013. However, their website states: “…you are free to choose another date if you wish." Voice of the Martyrs and Open Doors have chosen November 3. When I was a child, I somehow picked up the notion that persecution against the Christian church basically ended with the collapse of the Roman Empire. But it turns out that the last century was the worst century ever for the persecution of Christians and martyrdom. Dr. David Barrett, a leading church statistician, says there were more Christians martyred in the 20th century than had been murdered in all previous centuries combined. Persecution today continues to rear its ugly head in various places around the globe, such as in remnant Communist countries, like Vietnam or North K...
Humor in this Gov't Shutdown 10/03/2013 20:50:19

Humor Daniel J. Mitchell | Oct 03, 2013 Recommend this article Over the past few days, I’ve explained that fiscal conservatives and libertarians had little choice but to use the “continuing resolution” as a vehicle to go after Obamacare. I also pointed out that the shutdown fight in the mid-1990s resulted in a very important victory for advocates of smaller government. And I wrote that it would have been better if the shutdown started even earlier to stop bureaucrats from their usual end-of-fiscal-year spending orgy. So what should I write about today, as we enter another day of unplanned vacation for nonessential bureaucrats? Well, I heard President Obama warn yesterday that we need to take steps to protect the economy. Did this mean he was finally being reasonable and that he would agree to curtail the job-killing fiscal boondoggle otherwise known as Obamacare? Don’t be silly. Instead, he wants us to believe that a partial government shutdown somehow is bad for the economy. Just as he tried to convince us that the modest spending restraint of sequestration somehow was going to cripple the federal government (I wish!). Obama’s over-the-top rhetoric is so laughable that the only appropriate response is mockery. So let’s enjoy some jokes and other humor about the government shutdown. We’ll start with a very funny bit of satire about civilization collapsing without an omnipresent federal government. Here’s a teaser, but you should read the entire article . Let...
Is Intelligent Design Intelligent or is it not Falsifiable 10/03/2013 20:50:00
Science or Religion? by Kerby Anderson The latest debate about science textbooks has surfaced a typical complaint about the scientific basis of intelligent design. Critics of intelligent design say that it is not science because it cannot be falsified. But nearly every critic then goes on to argue that intelligent design has been falsified. Obviously it can’t be both falsifiable and non-falsifiable at the same time. Such is the level of argumentation against intelligent design. But there is another argument I find even more fascinating. It is that intelligent design cannot be considered science because it has religious implications. As I point out in my book, A Biblical Point of View on Intelligent Design, just because an idea has religious (or philosophical implications) shouldn’t necessarily disqualify it from scientific consideration. There are significant religious and philosophical implications for Darwinian evolution. Consider just a few of these. Oxford biologist Richard Dawkins believes that Darwinian evolution provides the foundation for his atheism and claims that “Darwin made it possible to be an intellectually fulfilled atheist.” Daniel Dennett says: “In the beginning, there were no reasons; there were only causes. Nothing had a purpose, nothing has so much as a function; there was no teleology in the world at all.” Princeton bioethicist Peter Singer argues that we must...

BEST SUMMATION OF BARACK AND MICHELLE OBAMA EVER A very well written and reasoned statem 10/03/2013 20:49:31
BEST SUMMATION OF BARACK AND MICHELLE OBAMA EVER A very well written and reasoned statement on the 1st couple! Someth ing everyone should read, regardless of politics! After reading this I a prediction; I believe before the next three years are over we are going to see the fall of a president such as has never seen before. It will be ugly but overdue. Mychal Massie is a respected writer and talk show host in Los Angeles . The other evening on my twitter, a person asked me why I didn't like the Obama's? Specifically I was asked: "I have to ask, why do you hate the Obama's? It seems personal, not policy related. You even dissed (disrespect) their Christmas family picture." The truth is I do not like the Obamas, what they represent, their ideology, and I certainly do not like his policies and legislation. I've made no secret of my contempt for the Obamas. As I responded to the person who asked me the aforementioned question, I don't like them because they are committed to the fundamental change of my/our country into what can only be regarded as a Communist state. I don't hate them per definition, but I condemn them because they are the worst kind of racialists, they are elitist Leninists with contempt for traditional America . They display disrespect for the sanctity of the office he holds, and for those who are willing to admit same, Michelle Obama's raw contempt for white America is transparent and conspicuous. I don't like them because they comport themselves as...

The Vietnam Memorial Wall 10/03/2013 20:47:43
The Wall A little history most people will never know. Interesting Veterans Statistics off the Vietnam Memorial Wall There are 58,267 names now listed on that polished black wall, including those added in 2010. The names are arranged in the order in which they were taken from us by date and within each date the names are alphabetized. It is hard to believe it is 36 years since the last casualties. The first known casualty was Richard B. Fitzgibbon, of North Weymouth , Mass. Listed by the U.S. Department of Defense as having been killed on June 8, 1956. His name is listed on the Wall with that of his son, Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Richard B. Fitzgibbon III, who was killed on Sept. 7, 1965. There are three sets of fathers and sons on the Wall. 39,996 on the Wall were just 22 or younger. 8,283 were just 19 years old. The largest age group, 33,103 were 18 years old. 12 soldiers on the Wall were 17 years old. 5 soldiers on the Wall were 16 years old. One soldier, PFC Dan Bullock was 15 years old. 997 soldiers were killed on their first day in Vietnam .. 1,448 soldiers were killed on their last day in Vietnam .. 31 sets of brothers are on the Wall. Thirty one sets of parents lost two of their sons. 54 soldiers attended Thomas Edison High School in Philadelphia . I wonder why so many from one school. 8 Women are on the Wall. Nursing the wounded. 244 soldiers were awarded the Medal of Honor during the Vietnam War; 153 of them are on the Wall. Beallsvill...
