The Kona Kronicles - The Making of a Service Dog Preview

Chronicling the day to day training and experiences of a Black Lab seizure/service dog puppy in training Kona.Kona is training to take he place of her grandmother Java who had to be prematurely euthanized following a dog attack while Java was on duty with her handler. Kona is showing incredible promise as Java's phenom and at 5 weeks old was turning on a hand held light switch on command and at 4 months already knows numerous tasks to assist her partner and trainer Lisa Cullen. Kona also has taken to seizure work like her grandmother and aids Lisa already during seizures helping to ensure that Lisa is safe giving confidence in her daily life as a dog trainer, behaviourist and working in a vet clinic/grooming shop. Already Kona works each day in the clinic assisting Lisa to continue to work as she had previosuly done.
