The web sites chosen for this ring encourage women and men to become excellent in everything they do. We should be honest, kind, charming, beautiful, strong, smart, brave, caring and talented. Women should strive to be Renaissance persons, versed in many areas of learning, virtuous, focusing on the long term consequences of their decisions, compassionate, fighting for justice and mercy for all human beings alike, regardless of age or condition of dependency, supporting and upholding all people. Beauty comes from within. Beauty of character should be emphasized. A Renaissance woman (or man) doesn't override the free will of others, but supports and counsels them. A woman should have strength of character, and work toward keeping both body and mind healthy and productive. She should strive for personal independence where appropriate. She should honor her family members. She should avoid policies that would encourage sloth in others, but encourage them to personal excellence as well. Women who nurture the young well are especially to be prized. Devotion to one's mate in a mutually supportive relationship is also the mark of a Renaissance woman. Web sites reflect a pro-life perspective and are family-friendly.
