Canadian Society of Christian Philosophers Preview

The primary purpose of the Canadian Society of Christian Philosophers is to provide a forum for discussion and exchange on topics in philosophy and religion--especially where these two disciplines meet. Like the Society of Christian Philosophers in the United States, the Canadian Society is ecumenical in composition with respect to Christian denomination, theological perspective and philosophical orientation. Participation in its meetings has, however, always been open to those who do not share its Christian commitment.

What is universal philosophy? Webster's dictionary defines "universal" as used or understood by all; an entity(s) which can be in many places at the same time, throughout the universe. "Philos" is loving, dear. "Sophy" is skill, wisdom. To "associate" is to connect or bring into relation; to keep company; to unite, combine; to enter into union. How did an association begin? The Association of Universal Philosophy is an association of God, by whatever name you may know the Creator -- the spiritual messengers of God He sends to prepare the way for the coming of the Messiah -- and people of all faiths, religions, beliefs, and colors, who seek a way within their hearts and minds for his coming. It was begun by universal spiritual messengers of God.
