Water is essential for survival, we can only live a few days without it. Drinking the required quantity of clean water daily is vital for optimum health and wellbeing. What Quantity Of Water Should I Drink Daily? Water - it's your body's vital fuel, a health drink from mother nature. It's calorie-free, inexpensive and easily obtained. Yet few people follow the old fashioned advice to drink eight glasses of water a day. Actually, the current theory as to the basic quantity to drink per day is half your body weight in ounces of water. Most people drink when they are thirsty, but the beverage of choice tends to be some other fluid besides water. It is important to drink the recommended daily quantity of clean water. You shouldn't only drink when you are thirsty, as thirst is a sign that your body is already in a state of dehydration . Spread your water throughout the day. It's better to drink over time rather than intake an enormous volume at one time. Water eases digestion and regulates body temperature. It bathes the cells and accounts for about 60 percent of body weight. It can help you exercise longer and more efficiently. Drinking water can ward off constipation and maybe even crankiness.
