   Poughkeepsie and Eastern Railroad at Poughkeepsie Preview Go
Part of the The Central New England Railway (CNE) was the Poughkeepsie & Eastern (P&E). The name P&E did not actually last very long. It started out in 1872 as the P&E Railroad but the name was changed shortly to PH&B. A few years later it became the NY&M and then in 1893 it was changed back to P&E Railway. This was all the same railroad with different names. It was abandoned by the New York, New Haven and Hartford Railroad.
   ND&C CNE Railway between Pine Plains and Millerton Preview Go
The Central New England Railway (CNE) / Newburgh, Dutchess and Connecticut Railroad between Pine Plains and Millerton over Winchell Mountain. This line was built by the Dutchess & Columbia Railroad in 1870-71.It was part of the ND&C RR from 1876 to 1905 when the CNE took over. From Shekomeko east to Millerton the line was abandoned by the CNE on 25 January 1925. From Shekomeko west to Pine Plains the line was abandoned by the New Haven on 21 October 1935.
